How much is a personal trainer? This is very much dependent on location. Pricing can vary from £25 to £250 per hour, research who you work with and base your enquiries on results, not price. There are other options too if pricings a focus point. You can attend group personal training and online coaching.
How many sessions per week should I train? Again, it depends on the goal. But there is no reason someone wouldn’t exercise daily.
How many times a week do I need a personal trainer? As many as you both agree to get you to your goals. But also remember you can work with a personal trainer / coach online which can be more cost effective.
What’s the best diet? One that you can stick to. A diet is a short term fix. Any good coach should help educate you on healthy lifestyle habits.
How to lose weight quickly? Chop off a limb…. If you lose weight fast, you will stall and you will put it back on just as fast.
Can weight loss affect my period? It can have a huge impact on hormone imbalance if you are not controlling the amount of weight you lose.
Can weight loss reverse diabetes? In some cases yes, but generally you’ll need to have a good well balanced diet. And speaking with your GP should be your first point of action.
Will weight loss slow down? Yes, you will plateau at some stage but with the correct guidance you shouldn’t focus as much on scale weight.
What is a calorie deficit? This is when you consume less calories than your daily recommended calorie intake.
What is the best weight loss program? One you can stick to and not be bored by.
How to add muscle? Patience, unless you are genetically gifted or using ‘supplements’ you will need to work hard and be patient. A good rule of thumb is to use a hypertrophy training split.
Will exercise help with my mental health? YES! I cannot stress this one enough. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins which simply are your body’s happy hormones.
Which exercise helps most with mental health? One that you enjoy and will be able to continue to do.
 How does exercise improve mood? As above, it releases your happy hormones.
How many hours of sleep do I need? This varies from person to person, some people work great off 5,6,7,8,9,10 hours. It is trial and error really… SORRY!
What can I do to improve my sleep? Have a morning and evening routine, boring I know but your body LOVES routine. Stick to one and you should start to see improvements within a matter of days.
How do I become happy? Do more of the things you enjoy, spend time with people that make you smile and laugh.
What can I do to be confident? Confidence comes by success and repetition. Create some small achievable goals and you’ll start to see your confidence sky rocket.
How do I improve my mindset? Like the above answer, create some goals that you have a chance of achieving. Continue it and you’ll reap the rewards.

The goal is simple: we’re here to put physical and mental health first.

Thomas J Fowler aka The Fitness & Mindset Coach is the owner of Mind Your Fitness. He struggled with his own mental and physical health. Battling CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder), anxiety, depression & confidence as well as body image issues, developing an unhealthy relationship with food, and more. He decided to take control over his life. No more playing a victim!

With over a DECADE of experience within the health and fitness industry. Failed workouts, injuries, diet fads… He has seen it and experienced pretty much all there is. 

How did he do it? 

By putting his physical and mental health first and creating THE CORE FOUR.  

The Core Four comprise of Mindset, Nutrition, Sleep, Fitness.

Building peace within, building confidence, power, and strength. Unshakable beliefs about who he was becoming—the ability to look at food and understand if it was controlling him or he was controlling it. Removing bad habits; people who weren’t supporting his end goal of success.  

Now the mission is to have Mind Your Fitness as the most recognised fitness & mindset go to — giving everyone affordable support to put their own physical and mental health FIRST!

Quality Equipment

We are not a commercial gym, so you want be plonked on a leg press machine. You’ll be moving your body functionally. Using kettlebells, barbells and body-weight .

Online Coaching

Brining you the very best service. Remotely.. It worked during the various COVID lockdowns. It has continued to work since. Weekly check in calls, guided nutrition and bespoke workouts.

One to One

Good old fashioned face to face coaching. Need someone there to motivate and hold you accountable? We have you covered there too.

Group Fitness

Over the past 2 years, we have really invested into our group personal training. You will get everything you expect from a one to one personal training session, but more cost effective.
